Synopsis
A seemingly happily married family man, Tom Evans deserts his life
in the Midlands and moves down to live on the bleak streets of
London. Tom appears to be seeking some kind of solace but not long
after arriving in London a violent incident causes Tom to seek
medical care in a hospital.
While in A&E Tom meets the harmless, child-like Aidan, a happy,
fast-talking individual who’s the antithesis of Tom. Aidan follows
his new 'friend', Tom around when they leave the hospital, and Tom
seems unable to lose him. As Tom is drawn into Aidan's world, he
quickly realises that Aidan’s problems threaten to envelope him.
Aidan's 'girlfriend' Linda is both violent and manipulative, and Tom
is drawn into an unlikely and dangerous new 'family'.
Will Tom be able to overcome his own problems and help Aidan as
well? Will he ever return to his own family and why exactly did he
leave home in the first place?
