Synopsis
Dumped by his girlfriend, Willow (Norah Jones) two days before their
holiday aboard a Caribbean cruise ship, Brooklyn musician Max (Sean
Bones) decides to still go ahead with the trip on his own. Arriving
in Jamaica, Max slips away from the tourist areas to experience the
real local culture only to be fleeced of his possessions.
Stranded in unfamiliar terrain, Max has no chance of re-boarding the
cruise liner in time, so he sets off on foot for Kingston where the
American Embassy is located and, as he travels through the Jamaican
countryside soaking up its Rastafarian culture and experiencing some
memorable encounters with the legendary reggae group The Congos.
