Filmed on location in Bulgaria, WAR, INC is a political satire starring John Cusack as an assassin Brand Hauser, who is hired by Tamerlane, an American private corporation, to kill a Middle Eastern oil minister, Omar Sherif (Lyubomir Neikov). A former US Vice President (Dan Aykroyd) runs Tamerlane, which currently occupies a country called Turaqistan, and the assassination is a plan devised to enhance and monopolize the opportunities for this war ravaged country. Posing as Tamerlane's Trade Show Producer, Brand Hauser finds himself organizing the high-profile wedding of a controversial central Asian pop star, Yonica Babyyeah (Hilary Duff), and keeping track of a sexy left wing reporter, Natalie Hegalhuzen (Marisa Tomei), who is snooping around. |
