Synopsis

In the Disney tradition of the live-action feature film HOMEWARD BOUND, Walt Disney Pictures presents WHISPERS: AN ELEPHANT'S TALE. This live-action comedy adventure tells the true story of a baby elephant Whispers (voice of Debi Derryberry), stranded in the wild, and the dangers, fun, excitement and laughter of his amazing journey towards self-discovery as he searches for his lost mother Gentle Heart (voice of Anne Archer).

Walt Disney Pictures presents A Dereck and Beverly Joubert Production, WHISPERS: AN ELEPHANT'S TALE. Directed by Dereck Joubert from a screenplay by Dereck Joubert and Jordan Moffet and Holly Goldberg Sloan, the story written and produced by Dereck Joubert & Beverly Joubert. The feature production, shot entirely on location amidst the magnificent landscape of Botswana in southern Africa, is the first fiction film from internationally acclaimed, multi-Emmy Award-winning naturalists and documentary filmmakers Dereck and Beverly Joubert who for over twenty years have made their home in the African bush.
