There are not a lot of people who can replicate the Beck sound and lyrics but it looks like Icelander Gisli has just managed that. Aided with that lazy vocal approach that is also similar to Beck and admitting that his favourite album is LEONARD NIMOY SINGS, it would seem that Gisli is around to stay for while, even if you did make an attempt to ignore him.
