The Glitterati – You Got Nothing On Me

Single Review by Mark Bayross

Former Alan McGee signings The Glitterati have been compared to The Darkness, but their glam stomp has more of a garage rawness to it that evokes the likes of erstwhile tour mates Jet or The Datsuns (remember them?).

YOU GOT NOTHING ON ME serves as a rousing introduction to their forthcoming debut album, due in May and produced by Mike “Appetite For Destruction” Clink. It growls, it swaggers and it does indeed rock.

And an extra point for making the CD actually feel like a vinyl single – nice touch!
