My Vitriol – Mood Swings

Single Review by Mark Bayross

After more than a year of keeping a low profile, My Vitriol are about to release BETWEEN THE LINES, a double album comprising the US version of their debut album FINELINES (which was remixed and remastered in its entirety by Korn / Rollins / Metallica producer Steve Thompson) and a collection of rarities, covers and acoustic versions.

As a prelude to the album’s release, the band have released brand new single MOODSWINGS, backed with a number of new, previously unreleased songs. Available on two CDs and DVD, it’s a double A-side with the US version of THE GENTLE ART OF CHOKING.

The only snag is that MOODSWINGS is only available for a week, so you’ll have to hot-foot it to the shops, but the song itself is cause for celebration for My Vitriol fans – a glorious fusion of raucous, down-tuned guitars and Som Wardner screaming his lungs out.

So, no new album yet, but the single’s a stormer and it’s great to have My Vitriol back.
