Album Review by Nigel A. Messenger

Robbie Williams is back with his third album SING WHEN YOU’RE WINNING with all the hype and fanfare that you would expect from someone who has rarely been out of the news in recent times.

This year alone he’s won Best Video and Best Single at the Brit Awards, won Favourite Single and Video and Favourite Male at the Capital Radio Awards, and an Ivor Novello for Best Song Musically and Lyrically.

The album is quite a polished affair with the most outstanding tracks being ROCK DJ, KIDS….oh to hell with it I’m not going to name all the tracks because they’re all pretty good, but I don’t like LOCE CALLING EARTH or THE ROAD TO MANDALAY much. Nevertheless ten out of twelve tracks isn’t bad.

I particularly liked KNUTSFORD CITY LIMITS and FOREVER TEXAS so there!

By the way I hated TAKE THAT so I’m just going to pretend that was another Robbie Williams and still feel I’ve got credible taste.
