EP Review by EDF

Toronto based three-piece, The Scenes, love the eighties, not that it shows on their driving melodic rocking three track EP. The first track SEE YOU AGAIN is as good as anything other commercial rock bands are releasing at the moment. The second track HOT STEP, thanks to a very eighties keyboard melody, just plain rocks. The final track is a cover of Duran Duran’s COME UNDONE and is actually as good if not better than the original.

The surprising fact about this band is that they’ve only been together since September 2002, but they sure sound tight. At the moment, these guys are fishing for a record contract. Let us hope we will hear more from this promising band.
