I first became aware of TURN THE TIDE by Sylver over a year ago whilst watching the German MTV channel and I have to say that it made an immediate impression, partly because of singer Silvy De Bie’s fantastic vocals.
The Airscape Radio Edit of the track really doesn’t make the most of these and although it’s an excellent trance version, it may not have the pop crossover appeal to launch Sylver to the heights they deserve and in fact have already achieved throughout most of the world including number ones in their native Belgium as well as Israel and Canada. They were even named Dance Hit of 2001 in the German Dance Awards.
Fortunately the CD single also features the superb Original Version, all eight minutes of it and a CJ stone mix.
I would recommend you buy TURN THE TIDE now because if it does well we will be rewarded with a release of the album, which I personally can’t wait to hear.
