Timo Maas – Help Me

Single Review by Mark Bayross

Single number three from Timo Maas’ LOUD album is the slinky, spooky HELP ME, wherein the burly German’s rolling beats are topped off by a soulful croon from lad-bothering hip-hop star Kelis, despite the singer allegedly being flu-stricken at the time.

Remixes come from Deep Dish, who contribute the eerie Sabres Of Paradise-style ATTACKS MARS REMIX and a 12 minute long dub version, Krust & Die (as Kamanchi) and a funky minimalist turn from Locodice.

Not as chart friendly as TO GET DOWN, but there’s a certain mysterious allure here.
