Wilt – Distortion

Single Review by Mark Bayross

This is the second single to precede Wilt’s sophomore album MY MEDICINE and like its predecessor TAKE ME HOME, it’s a satisfyingly immediate rush of anthemic rock. Backed by a funky keyboard line and swirling electronics, it’s as polished as it is catchy and bodes well for the album.

The single comes on two CDs, backed on both by previously unreleased tracks, offering an interesting insight into what Wilt sound like without album producer Dave Eringa at the controls – TONIC and MAJOR CONDITION bizarrely resemble (long lost nineties indie band) Mega City Four.
