Single Review by Mark Bayross
The second single to be taken from the York quintet’s latest album IF THE TRUTH BE TOLD sees them on full-on retro-rocking form. The Gallagheresque title speaks volumes really – guitars squall, bluesy pianos plink, Hammond organs wobble and Rick Witter belts out another soaring Sheds chorus.
Fortunately, the lads are on encouragingly good terms with melody, so the whole thing makes for an appealing racket.
The band are currently touring the UK and wind up at Brixton Academy, London at the end of October.
